Few changes were evident on the luxury front-drive personal coupe and
convertible. The Biarritz convertible, introduced for 1984, could now get
an optional electric defogger for its glass back window. New spoked aluminum
alloy road wheels joined the option list. Standard engine remained the 4.1
liter V-8, with throttle-body fuel injection, hooked to four-speed
overdrive automatic transmission. A big diesel V-8 also was available (at
extra cost) in the coupe.
